The Last Barrel
Branding / Logo-Design / Packaging / Corporate Design / Brand Management2017 for The Washing Line
History or „Rumour of Switzerland“? Made from Swiss sugar beet, the first „Rumour of Switzerland“ is a truly inventive drink. That’s why the recipe for the brand appearance for „The Last Barrel“ is so inventive. Here, too, facts blend with fiction in an imaginative way. The result was a humourous tale in which historical personalities such as Napoleon Bonaparte and Robert Surcouf bickered with fictional characters such as Johann Ferdinand Fässler over a legendary rum recipe. The logo and the labels are based on the era in which the story is set, but nevertheless appear contemporary in design, language, and feel.
